What's the NICEST thing anyone's done because of your ASTON?
Discussion
I was driving through Central London today and got stuck in traffic near a building site. One of the workers started talking to me and telling me how much he liked the car etc.
Traffic was at a standstill on my side with cars coming continuously from the other side. So then the guy walks off and says: "Hold on a second..."
He got out his Stop sign and stopped all the traffic on both sides and let me go! Genius. I made sure to blip the throttle in appreciation...
So what's the NICEST thing anyone else has done on discovering you're driving or own an Aston?

Other drivers break their road rules for me. I can't count the number of times I've been waved on/through/let out, even though they have the right of way.
But I've generally just had nice behaviour towards the car - though never got a discount or even a bacon sandwich because I drive one.

Agreed. It's the GENERAL reaction and behaviour from fellow drivers and pedestrians which marks out owning an Aston over any other car. It's a car that makes yourself, and people around you, happy. Frequent politeness from other motorists.
Invitation to the Aston Martin, Geneva Motor Show stand next month.
That did count as 'NICE because of your ASTON' until I read, make your own way there, and pay to enter the Show.
I will see the DB11 soon enough, probably at Burghley.

Very well said Sir.
That gains an entry to my list of Aston Martin complimentary remarks.
You have joined Mr. Victor Gauntlett, who said the following;
"It's because Astons are thoroughbreds, that people have tried so hard to keep the marque alive."
An oil man and car lover, who did a great deal during the 1980s to keep Aston Martin in the chase.
