I hate me, you, my car and the universe :(

I can sympathise Flugplatz, I hadn't had my Sagaris very long when I swung into a turning area at the front of a friends house and damaged the front splitter, cue a new one and a trip to the painters.
Then a couple of years latter I managed to do it again but much worse, the impact damaged the bodywork above it as well, all on the way to display it at Carfest South.
That one generated a lot of comments about having the car but not being able to drive it at the show and a sizeable bill for rectification.
I think you will find there is a book running on how long it will be before I make a very expensive carbon fibre bungle.
Hope you can get it repaired fairly economically.

Ouch, looks horrible - what did you hit?
A new front spoiler will be expensive, but don't rule out getting it repaired. There are several experts in the area of CF repair and it can be made to almost as good as new for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.

7 Years without incident and then yesterday I decided to do some new kind of manoeuvre!!!!!
New AM part is £2056 plus VAT.
I had a chat with Brett at www.carbonfibrerepair.com and he says he repairs them regularly.
Ive sent him pics and he thinks I might get away with a £200plus vat repair.

I REALLY don't understand why these cars cannot be optioned with a lift system to resolve issues like this. What's a few more Kilos when the cars weigh as much as small moons anyway....
That's a good idea. Maybe the Bamford Rose guys could design something? One challenge is that you'd have to take a feed from the ECU to drop the car back to standard height at say 30mph.
So it does require engineering rather than just fitting parts...

The car already has speed sensors. This is not a hard task to do. Also means when you park up you have huge arch gapOne challenge is that you'd have to take a feed from the ECU to drop the car back to standard height at say 30mph.

or you know, just understand how high your own car is in relation to curbs etc.
A guy at my old work had a Jag XkRS. very nice. had a huge splitter
Forever would pull into a space NOSE first at a high speed relative to the maneuver and would always scrape it.
He had 3 options go slower, dont pull in so far or reverse in.
he chose neither.

It's not showing or visible so until that date - I'm going to suck it up.
