Photos from Aston Martin Sales, London [49/51 Cheval Place]
Discussion
Hi
Does anyone have any photos taken at Aston Martin Sales in London when it was at 49/51 Cheval Place?
Aston Martin Sales must have been there in about 1989??? They always had a fast changing selection of great new Astons.
I tried searching all over the web, but I can't find any anywhere.
Anyone got any photos from there?
I'm new to the Aston Martin section - do point me somewhere else if this is a duplicate of another thread.

A few of the contributors here have knowledge of the era you refer to, but most have later cars that have been built at the Gaydon, Warwickshire factory, from 2003 onwards.
You could also try the Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC) forum, and an organisation called Aston Martin Heritage Trust. The Trust keep all sorts of historical items and information.

You might need to be a bit more specific, is it the building you want photos of, the interior, both or some of the cars for sale?Does anyone have any photos taken at Aston Martin Sales in London when it was at 49/51 Cheval Place?

Hi Guys,
Thanks.
Cars for sale: the V8 cars were often in the showroom prior to delivery, so the V8 Series cars up to 1990 tended to be in the showroom. I was never quite sure whether the showroom was for customer cars prior to delivery or second hand cars or both!
The showroom must have been there in 1989 to 1991 at least, then it was sold to HROwen who put Ferraris in there.
robert
Thanks.

After some successful searching in the garage [it's freezing]...
AM Sales in Cheval Place looked like the first photo. The photos below are from when I visited in 1989, 1990 and 1992, so AM Sales was at 49/51 Cheval Place 1989-1992 at least.
They mainly had brand new cars (you can see the silver Virage in the window in the first shot), but also had some other cars on display - see AM Racer and DB4 Zagato.
Did anyone else go there and take any photos?
