Paddy uses a good fabric roof sealer but I can't remember if it was a GTechnic one or not, sure he will tell you which one it is he uses.

I've used Chemical Guys product on my volante and the water beads right up. Important to clean first. There's a video halfway down the page.

This is the Gtechniq stuff Paddy recommended and I have used it a couple of times on my V8VR (Grenadine Red roof)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gtechniq-I1-Smart-Fabric...

The 500ml just about does one roof coating and I apply it as Paddy recommends using a paintbrush although i get some strange looks from the neighbours painting the soft top on an Aston.
I will probably do mine again after winter , but will buy the 1 litre which will do 2 coatings.
I usually give the roof a light clean and then paint on the Gtechniq stuff, it dries in quickly if applied on a nice sunny day.
