Question:
How many V12 Zagato's have been built?
Wikipedia article says 150: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aston_Martin_V12_Zag...
The add says 1 of 65.
So whats the dealio?
There is an interesting letter in this months Vantage magazine. The title sums up the car - Emperor's New Clothes. In summary, front like a bad trip to the dentist, back-side had a good smacking and roof like a tree has fallen on it. The whole package is on steroids with heart failure. On a lighter note the Kahn version is about and seems to use the same parts bin. Not a fan then.

that was publicly reduced to 100
In reality, depending upon who you ask, 60 something to 70 something were produced - they simply weren't able to find customers for all of them and they were only built to order
Actually planned production was 101, they eventually produced 71 V12 Vantage Zagato's.
Why would you want 4 V12V instead of one Zagato?
Question should be: would you rather have a Zagato or a GT12?
If I could afford it I would buy both, they are rare and their value will inevitably go up.

I'm sorry but planned production was not 101, it was 150 as I posted above. It was then scaled back - as to whether it was scaled back to 100 or 101, I don't recall but it was 100% definitely originally planned at 150, before being scaled backWhy would you want 4 V12V instead of one Zagato?
