POA.

Why on earth do they do this?

Please can someone who actually knows explain it to me.

Every car listed without a price is listed with a price by the dealer either on Autotrader or PH anyway.

Not sure of your link but interesting to see the DBS, One-77 and Virage classed as 'Heritage'.

Could just be a temporary software error.

How strange, I guess they wanted to change it up when switching to "Timeless" rather than preowned.

Perhaps you should have to enquire about the age of the car as well, with them being timeless...

There's definitely something(s) amiss with the AM site.

If you go onto the newly-designed 'Pre-Owned' section of the site, and do a search for e.g. V8 Vantage S, the price details are there, but underneath the new Standard and Optional Features tabs, there is precious little information presented, other than the dealer details.

Yup, Id say that's deffo a bug with the new site. Seems to just be POA on all V12VS as most other models I have just checked all have prices. The V12VS had prices before the new look was rolled out too...

So I think the answer to your question of why they do it is - "sh!tty software user acceptance testing" wink

I'll put money on it that they've done this on purpose. They know the V12S Manual is coming and it's an up-sell opportunity. Once they have you on the phone, they can up-sell a new car rather than the pre-owned.

Remember though, we all think the manual is the holy grail, but I bet we're in the minority of buyers who think that, so not sure they'll many to up sell many using that tactic.

^^ this

There's a reason why the manual transmissions are so rare on the db9 and dbs

For me I love SS and manual it all depends on what car and what I want it for?
In a DB9, DB11 or a Vanquish the auto box is great and enjoyed the drive and car.
In my Vantage V8 I had lots of fun with SS II and it was my daily driver and a manual would not have suited me.
When I switched to a Vantage V12S the option was only SS III and I am glad it was.It suits me, the car, how I use as daily driver and general madness at the weekend
Just about to spec my new Vantage GT8 and that will have a 6 speed manual as it suits the car and what I will be using it for.
The problem is I don't think I can part with my V12S Roadster with SSIII and I have not told the wife yet even I don't believe my man maths at the moment lol

I just cant see when you would go to the garage and pick the V8 over the V12S for the day?

The V12VS prices are back today, so looks like it was just a bug and not a conspiracy all along! tongue out
