Clear lights generally look better on dark coloured cars and red light better of light coloured cars.

Clear lights should look good on a meteorite.

Here's a picture to mine (standard fit to V12) to help with your thought process, which if it was me the answer would be yes. Freshens it up a bit I feel!

Just got the car over the winter so those are the only pictures I have of the rear light, it is a 2009 V8V 6sp manual in Meteorite Grey

I had clears on Quantum Silver AND Tungsten Silver - opposite ends of the silver spectrum so to speak.

They looked great on both tbh.

I bought the clear lights then fitted a smoked film to give a dark light look. could be an option, and not many have this

That listing seems to be for ONE light. Not cheap!

This (potentially hooky) listing from Poland is much better value: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aston-Martin-Rear-Lights...

Yes I have seen both of them and I agree one is very expensive and the other I would not really trust. Thanks.

I would also be wary of buying used lamps. They could well look perfect when you receive them, and then keep condensating when the car gets cold and wet and then you have a whole lot of grief to deal with.

Is your car not worth the cost of a new pair?

Correct. I've had the condensation issue.

Mine have some condensation when garaged over winter (trickle charged, obviously) but this vanishes as the weather gets better.

I personally think they look much better than the old red ones. Tungsten Silver DB9:

I prefer clear on Meteorite, but my DB9 was Onyx Black and looked great with red lights and calipers.

Therein lies the definition of personal preference !!

Red and Black are classic combos......I just like the contrast of the clears (yes, even on Tungsten) smile

Thanks Cayman - I agree smile wasn't a big fan of black Vantages until I saw the black beauty in all its Carbon Black glory - oh and being a V12 having all the usual aggressive extras cool
