The light at the bottom of my rear view mirror no longer comes on when I press the mirror button to open my garage door. In addition I cannot program another button on the mirror to open another garage door. Pressing any of the mirror buttons will not activate the light. Is this repairable? Or do I have to purchase a new mirror?

And while we are on the subject, anyone thought about retro fitting a homelink mirror and if so with whom and for how much? I'm sure Aston would be 000's but the mirror itself looks circa £300 -£400 on eBay. Just need a competent fitter.

1. Sounds like fubar or no power. Check the fuse in the passenger side box. If there is power and it's plugged in right then it might be knackered.
2. It's a direct plug in. No fitting required. The plug is pre-wired and waiting for you in the courtesy light pod.
One T30 torx, a posidrive and a towel to cover your dash incase you drop something..... smile

Thanks. I was afraid that there was no repair, only replace. I am familiar with the light pod removal
