Following a two week wait from purchase to collection we finally got our new car home safely before the rain.
Now tucked away in the garage, we had a great 30 mile trip home with the roof down.
Must be mad as it was only 11 degrees.
What a fantastic sound it makes.
Still grinning ear to ear.

Might have to mop the floor again as it lets the car down.

Congratulations and the car looks brilliant. As for having the roof don when it is cold - doesn't everyone do that????? Our record is going up the Stelvio at more or less freezing and then the snow started. Agree absolutely mad but that what roadsters are made for.

You are getting yours at just the right time - enjoy yes

Has Ed been in touch yet??

That is mad, but sounds fun.
The colour is Torro red.

Been booked in for Burleigh since December, I knew I was getting one eventually.

I'll do the honours....your sill plates are crap and so are your standard buttons, if you want to be seen out in public, you need to contact mr hall and get some. Oh, while we are on the subject, your car needs a polish.....lol

Well done Francis. Mr H did the sill plaques for my DBnoyne and my DBS. Kept them both. Excellent quality.

What the serial cake eater (paddy328) is trying to say is that Tony makes a great set of hand turned metal knobs/buttons to replace the plastic ones (I've got them on my DB9 and they are a massive improvement) and paddy328 himself is a professional detailer who can also do an incredible job of eating all your cake - sorry - machine polish finishing/detailing your new pride and joy back to better than new condition (seriously, mine looked as mint as yours when I bought it but he achieved a staggering mirror like finish).

Thanks all.
I may be interested in new knobs etc and possibly sill plates.
As for detailing we had the Gtechniq platinum coating done so I'll stick to that.

Yes it's from Dove house, very helpful and friendly service.

I may be looking at iPod hookup as well, I'll read through the threads as I remember seeing somebody does a conversion.
On the way home we didn't have the radio on, just listened to that fabulous exhaust sound, it echoed nicely through Kimbolton.
