I hope someone can help me with the settings on the Satnav in my 2015 Vanquish. Ever since I got the car from new I have had problems with the Satnav. It doesn't seem to matter what I do to the settings. Example, I went to Lands End from Kent. sImple, M25 then M4, M5 etc....no all it wants to do is keep sending me down the A303. The hotel that we stayed in was just off the A30......but it wanted to send me all round the back roads to get to it ..... Which is really frustrating. I have tried to change the setting to motorway etc. So does or has anyone else got this issue. Thanks

Ok thanks for that. I will check but I'm sure I have tried that. What is odd is my daily driver the SVR Range Rover has a brilliant satnav. It gives you 3 options and you chose which one. The Aston doesn't seem to have that option. A simple setting I expect.

Geoff, We do Devon to Kent several times a year and are always routed on the A303 because it is, in the main, the quicker and more fun of the two routes. Less time on the M25 and ours (Garmin system same as yours) always re routes us around Stonehenge if there are problems saving loads of time. Wouldn't use that route travelling into the SW on a Friday night though!

As for issues on the A30 we also get them on occasions which is frustrating but I have always said the Aston likes to take you on a little adventure smile Not sure any changes in settings will change this but do make sure you are on fastest route.

Funnily enough I find it better than the satnav in our RRS which is always trying to reroute at the slightest sign of a 50mph speed limit on the motorway - and there are quite a few of them yes Mind you, far better than our last RRS which once tried, and failed, to send us on a 175 mile detour to avoid roadworks.

Having got very frustrated with this happening all the time I took it in to the dealer who said that they hadn't heard of the problem before! I never believed them and just ignored reroutes but ironically mentioned it to the salesman when we bought the latest one to be told he had had that several times when using them and hoped the new one would be better rolleyes
