Hotel/feeding in Northwest France needed

Morning all,

I appreciate the folks on here do some jollies into France from time to time. I've a group of bods going to Angouleme for the Circuits des Remparts in September and looking for a midway(ish) hotel between there and Caen for the journey home.

Must haves:
1 Decent food nearby, something with a star maybe.
2 Secure parking for 4 or 5 cars.

I quite fancy a sniff of sea air but that's just a maybe.

Also if there are any roads worth hitting around that neck of the woods, that advice would be most welcome too :-)
