DBS Oil level?

Just recently bought a manual DBS and trying to understand what the correct oil,level should be.

I measured it as per the instructions and it appears over filled to me by about 0.5 a litre I guess.

It has just had a service by s Stratsone dealer and they are adiment that it's the correct level even though it' appears over filled. They say they measure the exact amount that goes in.

Either way it's a bit of a farse not knowing what's right and wrong.

Anyone know what is the correct way to determine the correct level?

Just posted about speaking with an AM mechanic and he said to keep it in the mid range of the dipstick. Topping off causes more to get in the intakes through the breather system.
