It's a MY14 V12S with a lot of carbon bits smile Ceramic grey is great too.

I've not been this excited about any car, definitely a dream come true.

Keeps hitting home when the polishing cloth gets to that Aston badge smile

Rear shelf in carbon is a nice touch smile

Congratulation on a stunning purchase, you must be well chuffed.

I particularly like the carbon rear shelf a very nice touch and one I'd not seen before.

Now I've been so complimentary how about bringing it to Burghley in july and let us all have a good look.

You'd be most welcome.

Congratulations again on being the owner of such a wonderful motor car……...thumbup

Congrats! Looks like the one from Stratstone Wilmslow? I've seen it going out for a run along the A34 down by there every now and then.

CONGRATULATIONS MB!

You've chosen a great car. Love the colours especially the roof and lipstick combo. I'm sure you must be enjoying the drive and most importantly the noise. Nothing like a V12. biggrin

Like everyone else here... That Carbon Fibre Shelf. Mama... Where does one get this and how bankrupt will I be after buying it?!

I see Ed's already been down to persuade you to come to Burghley. Come down to the Beaulieu event as well this Sunday if you're free! There's quite a few of us going. smile

Thanks again smile

Yes it was from AM Wilmslow. Great service from them and glad they kept it for me! It was sold at the point I saw if but the buyer had to drop out and I couldn't get up to see if for a week. All worked out in the end!

So, lots of interest in that shelf biggrin I believe they told me it was £6k, can't remember exactlybut it was a LOT.

The original buyer case spec'd the car nicely on the carbon front, although not easy to see against Ceramic in the pics. Mirrors, grilles, rear lights, rear shelf and i'm use a few other bits. AM valve caps I can see going missing!

I'm racing at Oulton this weekend but I may get back for the AM event on Sunday as it's not far from me.

Now where's this fabled fuse....

Congratulations - looks a fabulous car. Get a switch for your exhaust fuse. If you go to Burghley (thought I would get in before Ed smile ) then Clive will be there fitting he excellent remote switches yes

Congrats, stunning looking machine.....and I love CG, gorgeous when the sun hits it.

As for £6k for a shelf........either the original owner had money to burn and didn't care or was certifiable....but certainly a nice to have a on a pre-owned, as you're effectively getting it for free biggrin

Joking aside though, there's absolutely no justification for that kind of price, it's things like this that put me off brands in the end. Be realistic but firm with your pricing and that's OK, blatantly try and rip me off and we have a problem.......and that's what that is.

CF is not made of solid gold, it's a pretty common thing these days so no doubt the profit margin is astronomical, which isn't cool, as you assume the customers are mugs.

Thanks for the info Ian. What's involved in installing the switch? I don't want to modify anything on the car unless it's reversible and discrete!

Agreed on the carbon, but it is a work of art and has some kevlar in it too. Can't be an easy shape to make! Wouldn't spec it myself though. I'm too scared to put anything on it biggrin

Here's a vid of the car.

Looks superb in the video. Those CCM's are HUGE. My OCD was twitching though and I felt the urge to wipe those water droplets off those door caps (its real leather you know) wink Its all perfectly normal >twitch< spin

The exhaust mod is totally reversible I believe - spade connectors push in where the fuse was and run to the switch circuitry. Totally unpluggable.

Enjoy the achievement smile
