Well Gents,

Its been a long time coming but finally decided to leave the Stuttgart army and get back in a V8 lovely!

I got to be honest I did not expect to love it as much as I do, I literally went outside with a glass of red wine at the holiday lodge we were staying at just to look at it , the mrs was wondering what i was doing for 20 minutes outside.

She seems to have been cared for by the previous owner, who spent a small fortune on all original AM carbon parts and V12 bits and bobs and 10 AM Dealer stamps to boot for her 35k on the clock.

She's off to Bamford for a 40k service at the end of the month and some additional tinkering so looking forward to the revised version wink more to follow. After speaking to Mike and reading many online threads he certainly seems the man to look after her.

i know I have to post some pictures "house rules" but I must confess the picture are off my old iPhone and taken on Saturday when we collected her so nothing fancy , my SLR will be coming out in the next few weeks for some "proper" pictures , hope you guys approve smile

One at the lodge

At the "The Deep" so the kids could do something fun

One in her new home smile

A sweet looking V8, well done for the leap from Stuttgart, your rego is not going to fool anyone though, it looks nothing like a van!
Gazing at your Aston is something that does not seem to wear thin, good planning having a galss of red with you at the time.

Congrats on a lovely V8, those CF parts would indeed have cost a small, well large fortune to buy and fit!

Do you mind me asking about the black roof and tailgate? Are they wraps or actually painted? I'm asking because the factory has just discontinued those on new orders so I'm interested to see how the previous owner implemented them on yours.

Well gents,

Firstly thank you for such a warm official welcome ! I have to agree it really is a special car and I've not had a sport car feel the same if am honest smile, they really attract a lot of positive attention. I noticed this on the motorway on the way home lots of people speeding up then hanging on my back bumper to have a sneaky look, I don't mind I would be doing the same smile

Mr.Tremlini - Haha the number plate being changed back to my own one , so the "VAN" plate will be sold on.

Ed50 & J12KJR - Thanks for the invite for the event , however would you believe thats the same weekend we doing NC500 ! I will of course provided photographic evidence! so am not seen shirking my forum responsibilities, I would love to meet with some other owners and large meet its always great to meet like minded petrol heads.

AdamV12V - Well I can confirm its thankfully been sprayed correctly, the approved bodyshop charged around £600 checking the invoice for the work, which sounds about right. I must say its a striking combination , and am glad its been sprayed as I had a some "wrap" elements on a car before and it never match the same quality as a painted item imo.

Congrats on the car wink

Looks like you have spacers on the rear wheels as the stick out further than standard V12 wheels.

I love the carbon on my car and just got the front grill fitted last week wink need to get some pictures up also
