I paid 3 shipping fees, was sent wrong chargers, was informed about another wrong charger, upon shipping back, they wanted to refund 50%, finnaly accepted 100% but I lost 2 shpping fess, due to their errors. I do not recommend this website at all.

bad info,
no contact page working/accepting your email
no full refund due to their errors, 30 euros lost. had to go the the post twice since they ship to cc address only but you know it after of course.
recommend wrong articles, shipped another one, wrong too

what worst can you expect? is a 100% run around in Purpose?

Sorry to hear you had problems, the few times I have used them they have been absolutely fine.

For the charger you don't need an AM logoed one, standard ctek models will be fine.

Forum money saving tip of the day.

This will probably save you far more than you have lost in postal charges, Pete.

it was not a AM charger but a ctek, I was advised to get a 3.6 received a 3.8, note both do not fits the battery rapide 100 ah. confirmed by ctek themselves,
i heard they di not ship to other address than cc after, have it sent to spain, then back to uk for a wrong conditionner charger, was offered 0o% first after paying 3 shipping fees and getting a wrong one, what do you think? its a 100% run around on purpose, now they claim through someone elase i may be sue for posting it, I reported them on the famous ripoff report website, a million dollars google claim will not delete the thread, you looked for me you got me. now go and click there write what you want about my abusive behavior on the phone, all future clients will understand how bad I am and they will buy from you aston parts!!!!!!!

Guys f yo got screw like me, you must say THANK YOU

The 'Aston Martin' charger is a rebadged CTek device. The device you were first sent (MX 3.8) is the replacement for the 36, and is rated at 130 Ah for maintenance. The 36 was only 120 Ah. The red light on the charger/conditioner indicates a problem with your battery (unless it was flat to start with).

If you want a charger, you'll need something like the CTek MXS 5.0, which I believe you ended up with. Whoever told you to buy the 36 as a charger was mistaken.

For a DB9 I brought a Ctek MXS5.0 for £53 brand new from ebay.

The cigar lighter attachment was another £10.

I hope this helps.

I know i had a ctek for my xkr 5 liter before, i was then advised from ctelk and aston aprts to geta 5, but upon sending it back it was or i loose 50% with the 2 shipping feess it was 65 euros or he refund me in full (one shipping fees) and I am 30 euros off.

this is what they have done after calling them and now they will be suing me for my phone behavior, i just wanted to say it.
I have worked 20 eyars on the internet, a contcat page that do not work (accept your email) so bad infos, so much shippping fees alienation and being treated like this, i have never seen this before and i thought to share it cause i find it very interesting.

if i have you shipping something for my errors I will pay this shipping fee. when i was working on ebay with those cases I was even sending more money, like 5$ more surplus, but at Aston parts www.astonparts.com they feel like if they alienated you the ebst they ca play with you and refund you in full( still a 30 euros loss) they ve done very good then! and you must say thank you.

morale is that I do not want ctek anymore. they affected the brand treating me this way. and I email to ctek, they re not distributor official.

my batterry is excelent, i never even see the shade of an error message saying low battery and i never even used soemthing without the engine on and running.

the charger i received was for 85 ah only. here is the email of ctek saying ITS EVIDENT IT WILL NOT WORK ON THIS CAR

Bonjour Monsieur

I will get another conditionner or battery charger, ( normal version for home) bigger stuff who do not overheat, I think I remember it was the case for the 5 liter jag, it was hot while using it and I do not need this. testing this faulty charger on my car in the middle of idle /revs problems was the last thing you want do. ctek "aston parts" is not helping you

The 36/3.8 can charge only a 75/85 Ah battery, but can condition/maintain a 120/130 Ah battery. The 5.0 can charge a 110 Ah battery.

OP, Got to say I have never had a problem with this organisation at all, your experience is not mine, and whilst I sympathise if you have received poor service, I know this is at least your third post about this, the previous two having been deleted by Mods, presumably for what you called the company concerned which when I read your posts I thought was extremely risky for you.

Maybe it's time to move on.......
