indeed.....at least 3 weeks ago I heard it was sold out

IIRC, it was £500k. So many projects going on at AML right now, hard to keep track .....

I think it's great because with projects like this, AM RB001, the rumoured DB4 GT continuation, GT8, some one offs, etc it lessons the pressure on sales of the mainstream production models, so fewer discounts, which equals lower depreciation

If they manage to stay on top of the new model stream right (DB11 volante, uprated vanquish, etc) it means that as each new model and variant is launched, they can drop off production on the other models in favour of the latest/greatest which has the most demand

Let's hope it continues

They do appear to be on a roll - and long may it continue. I had heard a similar price but do not know how many were available. Anyone know?

I really hope that AML can get away from discounting their new cars and only building to customer order. That, helped by a wider spread of dealers and a run of new models to come on stream should help them achieve this provided the cars are good. Let's hope so.

Imagine a V12 Zagato made from a Vanquish instead of a Vantage and throw in a few more unique features taking inspiration from AM track focused cars from past and present.

I think wings and carbon have already been done.
Time for some really authentic Aston Martin track features.

Perhaps an outside handbrake.
Wire wheels.
Possibly a starting handle.

Aston martin have just tweeted a picture of a zagato with the caption "the beautiful friendship continues" (and a union jack+italian flag). So guessing this is about to be publically announced. Hopefully we'll get some pictures as I'd love to see what they've done with the Vanquish

Hmmm, tbh I'm a bit underwhelmed by that.

Think I prefer the regular Vanquish on looks and seeing as that's the difference for an extra 300k it's a bit lost on me!

The details on this really make it for me. The wing vents, the DB11-esque rear end, the fogs inset in the grille.

Were I in the position I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

It's lovely. Front doesn't do anything for me but side and rear views are stunning

Stunning is spot on, that is fantastic.

The roof-line, the bigger front grille, the carbon A pillar giving the screen a wrap-around look, all fabulous. Love it!

So, I just got to work and looked at it on my computer rather than iphone. Perhaps I was a little hasty...
