Unless someone can give me a good reason why you should only fit the dealer supplied pads, I'm planning on sourcing a set of decent pads for the rear of my 2008 Vantage.

Can anyone recommend decent after market pads? And a good place to buy them from?

I've got those on the Exige, can squeal though. Apart from that they are great, particularly on track.

What about these? Seem a good price?

What kind of braking performance are you looking for? A lot of people are using Porterfield R4-S pads to get rid of dust and noise. They're great for a street-only car (*not* for track use).

Its definitely not being used on track, spirited on the road. Noise and dust reduction high up in the list of priorities, along with kindness to the discs. Performance? OEM equivalent would be fine

Then yeah, the Porterfield R4-S pads are a good choice. Very little dust compared to the Pagid 4-2-2 (OEM) pads, pretty much no noise (can't think of a single time they've squeaked since I installed mine). I haven't tried the Pagid 4-2 pads, so I can't compare across those.

I installed the EMC Red Stuff pads, they squealed until bedded in, can't notice any difference in braking performance but less dust on the rear wheels.

I fitted the Porterfield RS4s about 1500 miles ago and the reduction in brake dust is remarkable. Brake feel seems better and no squealing at all.

I am running Porterfield as well, us them also in the Ferrari, less dust good bite and no squeal. Good value as well.
