Well, took the car for a blast yesterday and decided to give her a clean afterwards. Gentle pressure washing did not remove some 'mud' along the nearside sill - bit strange thought I. A closer look and it looks like some kind of cement AAAARRGGGHHHH..!!!! And it must have been there since Wednesday of last week when I last took her out and it's set hard. I managed to pick most of it away but it has stuck fast to the stone damage protectors on the rear arch. Any suggestions for removal?? Maybe just replace the protector?

I noticed that I have bubbling on the bottom of the passenger door. Not a lot and not particularly visible - but I know it is there so it needs sorting. And the rear black mesh is also looking rather tarnished and corroded. Replace with original or maybe a carbon fibre diffuser?

Can anybody recommend a decent quality bodyshop/paintshop in NE Scotland/Aberdeenshire, please?

I have used both Kinghorn Autobody in Kintore and North East Autobody just off St Swithin street in Aberdeen city and would highly recommend both.

If it comes to just removing the paint protection then there are also a couple of places that can replace it for you too;
Polished Bliss in Kintore who work closely with Kinghorn anyway and Motorwerks on Forest Avenue Lane who incidentally work closely with North East Autobody! All of the businesses mentioned are well used to dealing with exotics and are careful.

Many thanks, James. I received a quote from Kinghorn a while back - it was three times the nearest competitor! So I won't be using them. Will give the others a shout.
