Afternoon,

I have searched and can't relate to the usual window gap issue. My 07 V8V seems to be temperamental with this. The passenger door will open making the window lower but it quite regularly doesn't go back up once the door has been shut, you have to open/close it a few times to get it to close up the final few MM. I have done the common window reset via the switches but before I strip the door has anyone else suffered from this/ know the cure ?

Snap, mine does this every now and then, I just reset it and forget it as it happens so infrequently. Interested if it's an easy fix, I suspect the battery might want replacing....

My '06 DB9 used to do this, but only in cold weather. Had the dealer reflash the door module. It hasn't happened again.

I had this and it took an age to get fixed properly. Went through the usual soft reset using the buttons, then hard reset by taking fuse out. Would often fix it for a bit but would then stop working properly again. In the end it went it to have windows module changed. This still didn't fix it, so had another module replaced, can't remember what it was in the end as the dealer replaced it foc under the basis that I'd already paid for a new windows module and that hadn't done the job. Eventually whatever they replaced work and it was fine, but not a cheap issue in the end and could have been worse if they'd charged me for everything they'd done.

try a reset (fuse out) otherwise it could be the window regulator, not too expensive, about £215 and DIY fit if you follow the workshop manual

...my passenger window needs doing, although has been intermittent of late and stuck in the up position, so at least its not letting water in when it rains

I had this. Put up with it for for a while. Thought it was the window module, but turned out to be the regulator which needed replacing.
