Do you mean the stone guards? If so, what do you want to know?

Yes they are the ones I suppose splash guards is a posh word for mud flaps . I just wanted to see some pics of them fitted to someone's vantage to see how they look as I don't want to spoil the lines of the car.

The mudguards were one of the first things I did to my car. If you can hold a screwdriver then there's no requirement to have someone to fit them for you. They occasionally scrape on things like speed bumps in car parks and the like, but no biggie. Ironically the local dealership has a rubberised speed strip in its car park that catches the driver's side.
Only you can decide if they ruin the looks of the car, but you could always remove them if not to your taste.

For a minor compromise to the lines these really make a difference.

I certainly notice how much cleaner the car was after wet weather and it certainly protects the vulnerable paint by the front arches.

I fitted them to my 2006 and find they really help to reduce muck and stones thrown up from the front wheels. My car is Metiorite Grey and they blend in so as you don't notice them. Possibly a brighter colour may show them up more. I would definitely fit them again to my next car.

Just fitted my stone guards today. Easy job but probably best to order replacement bolts and speed clips for the fixing that goes though the underside of the sill as one of mine was seized solid and had to be sheared to get off. have used a nut and bolt as temp fix. I will order two new ones as the other side is not in great shape either. I suppose after 9 years of getting muck thrown at it, I should have known they would be knackered. Hopefully the stone guards will protect my recently sprayed rear arches and help keep the sides a little cleaner in poor weather. Cheers G

Gazza (or anyone else that has fitted them),
I got some today for Father's Day.
Do you have to take the wheel off to get good access to do the job?

No need to remove the wheels as long as you have it on full lock so you can get a screwdriver into the arch liner. Make sure you soak the screws in the liner and under the cill with penetrating oil.
Kids gave me mine for my birthday. They think they've paid of all their depts😀
