Just need some bits painting, but want the peace of mind that they can do a good job. Can anyone recommend somewhere around here?

Try Gary Tilson of Cosmetic Auto Care based in Far Cotton. He has done a few paint jobs for me in the past (not Aston) but he has a couple of Ferrari 355s in his workshop being totally resprayed...he does a god job and at very reasonable cost.

I would second Lone Pine. They do a lot of Aston Martin work. Very good indeed,

Try AV Classic cars near Tring - a lot of AM work (both classic and modern) and several PH's have used them including myself - cannot fault their work.thumbup

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I did make contact with Lone Pine but their quote was horrendous. To have two side skirts painted they quoted £1600....plus VAT! That's nearly £2k!!!! Most of the other places I have tried have quoted less than £400. Now I'm not one to take the cheapest option, but I'm also not keen to bend over and take a £2k hammering on a simple paint job.

Did the other places quote for blending in or just painting the skirts, some Aston colour are a nightmare to match ie tungsten silver. Therefore if they simply paint the skirts it will stick out like a sore thumb
