I tried to connected it in vain, it keep saying, connect to the car ECU first.
For a rapide 2013, I plugged it under the steering wheel there.
I find it complicate to use.

who know another OBDII system easier to use, so that I can plug it and this will be it.

I bought one off of Amazon for about £5, and it connects to an app on my phone called Torque.

Do you have two OBD ports there? One for body control unit and one for ECU?

Sounds like the wrong port to me.

Have you turned the ignition on (but not started the car), does it have light on? If it's a Bluetooth one have you paired it with the phone and chosen the correct device in Torque settings?

I use my BT one with a few different devices and all the software has its own quirks, some need the device to be paired but not connected (so you have to manually disconnect it from BT settings on the phone, but not unpair it), others require it's connected first.

Try both footwells - there can be different ports in each I think.
