Another spec finalizing question..

Does anyone have a picture of the new standard louvres on the v12, especially against a light color bonnet?

The only picture I found is this:

I know, CF is the obvious answer.. I am a bit of a contrarian I guess!

Ask them to put the original design on it would be my request.

The "new", cheaper ones, look terrible.

It's just a way of upping the price by c£2K.

The V12S Manual starts production from MY17 which is effectively now, so other than the 1 or 2 press cars there are effectively no cars on the road yet. All of the press and pre-production cars I have seen have had the old style full CF bonnet louvres so I am afraid that the picture you have posted above (taken directly from the pre-production leaflet sent to dealers) is the only one anybody has seen (indeed it may be the only one to exist at this time) to the best of my knowledge.

For what its worth I have gone with the optional old style louvres.

Congrats on ordering one by the way - I was beginning to think I may be almost the only one! tongue out

Make sense to me..

I am going for a very conservative spec  (hammerhead grey, bitter chocolate interior) and I was looking to the new louvres to be a little more low key than the full CF ones. I am skeptical however that the black CF surround will look good between the titanium of the mesh and the relatively light grey of the bonnet, so for now I ticked the full CF option.

Not far from the spec we went for on our V12VR. What colour is the roof going to be. We went for bitter chocolate on that as well - just sets it apart from those who go for black and works well with the interior being that colour as well. Our car is tungsten and the flicking in the metallic goes well with BC.

A couple of pictures of ours. First with the roof up and then one of the interior. I would say this but you will love it.

Very close indeed! I saw those pictures when I was researching bitter chocolate interiors I didn't realize it was yours.

BC roof was a must to match the interior and I totally agree will set the car apart from all the other silver/black combos.

Add falcon grey stitching inside, yellow calipers and update to MY17 and I think you pretty much have my car at this point. I also went for the cuprum CF console variant, which has an interesting coppery sheen to it and works well with the brown of the interior.

And boy am I excited to be getting a manual again..
