V8 Vantage Rear Cluster Issue (HELP PLZ!)

I have a 2006 V8 Vantage with a brake left brake light cluster issue that I am hoping someone can assist with!



-Left indicator only flashes once (front quarter and headlight flash repeatedly)
-With headlights on, rear red lights appear dimmer on this light than compared with the right
-The bank of inner LEDs is not illuminated where as the right is.

Current Investigations:

-If right hand cluster is removed and wired to the left hand clusters everything functions as expected
-Voltage on earth is ok

Do I need to buy a new rear right cluster or has anyone experienced and solved this before?

I have just had this exact problem you describe on an 07 plate Vantage.

The light cluster is non repairable sadly. Mine was caused by water ingress.

Get on ebay and buy a used part, I got mine for about 150 and fitted myself. Well worth getting some sealant to protect the troublesome areas.

It sounds like its got a short from water ingress as the comment above says. You can split them and reseal them but its fiddly. If you can find one for £150 on ebay then thats the route to go.
