Chrome windows trims

Has anyone removed the chrome window trims on the vantage. If so do they just pull off and are there any clips that are likely to break. Thanks.

No. There are a ton of screws underneath the rubber seal that must be removed on the main trim piece. The rear kink is held by clips and some of the door trim is held by double-sided tape. I suggest you get a copy of the parts manual so you can see how things are assembled.

I've done it to paint them black. Trying to jog my memory but as far as I can remember there were only a couple of screws on the main secion (that the window lowers into). Remove rubber seal and the rest is clipped in. Can't exactly remember how I did it sorry, but figured it out myself and wasn't hard.
