New V8 Vantage battery

Hi all,

I think my Vantage battery is on its last legs and I'm looking to replace it. Is the battery from a dealer worth the premium, or are there good alternatives out there? I currently have an Aston/Varta battery, but happy to swap to an alternative as long as it properly fits the mounts.

The battery used isn't a regular lead-acid. It's a jelly-lead fibre mat type that's unaffected by orientation or forces.
It's not a special AML one so as long as it is of the same specifications and construction, Bob is thy Aunties husband.

I got mine from Eurocarparts, a Bosch with five year guarantee IIRC.

Around a hundred quid or so if that helps, less if you get a discount code.
