I am lost as to what it actually is or does?

What type of batteries does it take, does the rampant rabbit inside the jar actually rotate and why the cork on the top? Does it smell bad?

Look closely: it's a rendering of AM-RB001 in a glass container. Other artists put other things in a differently shaped containers.
