I have just purchased a 2007 Aston Martin Vantage, and on the long drive home I discovered that the cruise control would not engage. I found the switch on the right side of the steering wheel, but is there another switch somewhere I have to engage? Has anybody have a fix for this issue??

Same side but on rear of the steering wheel, it's a rocker switch which should activate the cruise caption on the dash. I think. I never use mine!

As mentioned, there is a rocker switch (on/off) behind the cruise control switch pack. When engaged, the word 'cruise' appears under the odometer reading.

You dont need it. Its fitted to the DB9's as well which in those cars when you first switch them on, it comes on automatically set to 30 and using the Sat Nav will drive itself to the nearest bowling club or local Conservative Party club.

Thanks all, but the rocker switch doesn't activate the cruise control...does anyone know which fuse (and where it is located) operates the CC? I found 4 fuses blown so far located in under the passenger side dash so far and fixed other issues, but so far no luck on the CC

Now, after driving my 2007 Vantage for 3+ years, the cruise control will randomly disengage it's self. Also, sometimes the car suddenly accelerates on it's on ...both with the cruise on and with the cruise off..most disconcerting in heavy traffic!! Anybody have a clue?
