Which Oil for 2007 4.3 V8Vantage?

This has probably been discussed ad nauseum but to save me searching for hours can anyone help me out with the recommended oil for a 4.3 V8 Vantage?

In the manual it says Castrol Edge Sport 10w-60 but my local Halfords doesn't stock this and it appears to have been discontinued.

What are you guys using?

Long story short, so long as it's fully synthetic 10w60 with an API SL/CF and ACEA A3/B3/B4 rating or better (current API rating is SN), you'll be fine. Some oils are better than others, but the need to stick to Castrol Edge is overblown in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, Castrol makes a great oil, but it's a little silly to confuse performance with brand loyalty. I'm currently using Motul X-Power 8100. I've used Shell M TwinPower Turbo but it seemed like I was burning through that a bit quickly (very unscientific observation).
