Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good garage for carrying out an MOT on a v8v,or does everyone use the Garage that carries out their Service?

I'm concerned about using a small MOT garage if they don't know how to jack up an Aston properly.

Be grateful for your thoughts

Cheers
R

Also interested in this for the same reasons. Would a car be jacked during an MOT, or are they driven onto a platform which raises?

Don't piss me off,I'm not happy when I'm pissed off.
It's not a book ,it's my local garage, used it for years to mot all my cars.
It's a mot ,not a full service.
Up on ramp,mot done,job done,£40 odd quid.
no books.no covers .

Impressed that all your cars for a number of years have been V12's.
Less impressed that you refer to yourself as a "big boy," I suggest you spend less time in the Pie & Piston.

Now ,now, no need to sulk.
I think you may have misinterpreted my remark.
"Big boy" refers to manhood not girth.
I have checked with them ,put in a good word on your behalf, and they will do you a favour.
Just tell them your a mate of "big boy" Steven.

Nor girth of manhood I hope. Though it does seem like a dodgy place from the look of it and all the nicknames. What did you think MOT stood for, Male Onickers Tonight?

My modesty is such that I shall resist the temptation to go into further detail about appendage.
I am aware that other forum members are sensitive souls and frown upon such chit chat.
I can think of other extrapolations for the acronym mot but they are a bit too racy to post.
If it all looks to scary for you Ross give me a bell and I'll take you in.
p.s. Don't wear tight trousers.
