Friend of mine has an 07 (US car) and he is wanting to know how to tell if the car is 2 or 3 pin coil.

AM dealer says to look for wires by the dipstick, but we looked on his car and cannot see anything and my car has the 2 pin. Also neither of us could put our hands down around the dipstick, so should there be wires on the passenger side also and please be specific on where to look as we are two old blind men.

TIA

Pretty sure it is the 3 pins, the 2 pins were only fitted to early DB9, 2005/2005.

Mine is a 07 and it is a 2 pin, dealer says they switched mid year in 2007 but they had nothing else to show when the change happened.
