I recently fitted new front discs, pads and wear sensors on my MY2006 Vantage and noticed that the wear sensor was held on one side using cable ties, not the original clips. I popped into AM Bristol this afternoon and ordered some new clips at the amazing price of 8p each. Cant wait until next week when I pick them up and swap them over.......

However, I did enquire about the V12 bumper upgrade, at that point I left the dealers.

Pretty funny!
However, there are some updates/replacements that can be made that add significantly to the ownership experience at relatively low cost.

This might be an interesting ongoing thread...

I nominate:
1) Replace the hydraulic assist struts in the doors, bonnet, and boot of Gaydon cars.
2) Replace the nav screen gears in early Gaydon cars.

What else can we do on the cheap?

Clearly the bonnet and boot struts are easy but I was told that the door ones are much more involved/expensive so didn't bother doing it on the slightly weak N/S one on my previous 2009 V8V. Is this not true?

Much more involved but not the worst job in the world:

Door struts take me about 30 minutes each once the wheel is off.
Doing bonnet or boot first helps build familiarity with the attachment system and the manipulations involved.
