Can anyone plug my Vin and give me some info / specsheet?

Can they also check for any outstanding bulletins? I heard there is no national database for work carried out (therefore only the dealer who did the work would know?)

yes - they can do this, and also give you a printout of what it's been in for before.

No, it's a centralised database...any recalls done by the dealer network. Why don't you call or visit them?

Not sure who advised you of this, but I got a full list for my latest Vantage from my local main dealer when I bought the car - they had never seen the car before. It doesn't make sense that recalls, some of which are safety related, would only be held by the providing dealer.
