2010 Sat Nav update for HDD
Discussion
Just about had my V8 vantage roadster for a year, what a car, I've done 5000miles in it and loved every minute, it's a 2010 4.7, the wife thinks I've turned into a sad git as I lavish attention on it. So far touch wood no problems other than the LED is the passenger have stopped working
My only issue is the Sat Nav, I would just like it to take a full postcode, I've hunted the forum to find out if it can be updated, but unsure. I have HDD Sat Nav but not the Garmin one, I called two Volvo main dealers but they won't commit to anything, Aston have said they don't up date.
Does anyone know if there are Volvo discs available and where you can get them from. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Given that your car is an HDD system you should be able to input a full postcode already?
If you want to upgrade to 2016 maps try:
http://www.satnavdvd.co.uk/
The discs are in effect back ups of the originals & work as such without the ridiculous price tag.

That's boring!
Upgrade it using the discs & you'll be pleasantly surprised, it includes full postcodes & speed cameras. Be warned it takes 3+ hrs to upgrade so go on a long drive or leave the car switched on but hook it up to a battery conditioner. If you can't it'll continue to upgrade where it left off when you switched off. Worth doing in my experience

The Volvo discs will work if you at least get it for model XC90, etc from MY 2010. Latest disc available (at Volvo dealer or online) are from 2015 (2016/17 might come later).
