Hi has anybody got any opinions on Quirk Car Company Wickford Essex.

They have got a Vantage for sale that I'm considering.

I went there once and test drove an XK8 Convertible - It smelled badly of fuel and pulled badly to the left so I walked away. Only based on one car test drive but I wouldn't rush back there. I bought my Aston 2 years ago from a main dealer in Brentwood with a 1 year Warranty on it and have been delighted with it and the service they gave me. Try them.

Quirks do not have a good reputation. As suggested speak to the boys at Grange in Brentwood, Matt and Garry they will do their best to find you something.

I went to Quirks when looking for a GT. Didn't get a great impression.

Grange are very good (I only used them for servicing).

Grange are top of my list of garages when I finally make time to doing the tour round them.
