Car Alarm going off?

Strange one this, I don't know if anyone knows the cause or had a similar experiance -

My DB9 in on the drive with a car cover on (a good quality fitted 4-layer one) it was very windy last night and the alarm kept on going off??

I know the alarm has tilt sensors but I am surprised that it's getting triggered?

Strange???

OK, i've read the manual I think I need to activate the Reduced Guard switch.

I'm surprised that the car cover activates the interior sensors??
