V8 Vantage pre filters

Just trying to remove the two bolts on the covers over the two oil pre filters on the 4.3 they seem very tight and I don't want to shear them any advice ???

They're notorious for stripping, so be careful. I use an impact driver on them to ensure they come out without stripping, and then replace them with hex-head bolts. I even include hex-head bolts in the oil change packages I sell so customers can replace the original torx bolts if they want to. Thanks I have an impact driver so I will give it a go and yes I think it's a good idea to replace with hex head bolts.
