DB9 Door Seals help

So I have some wind noise coming from the left front window and also a minor water leak which I noticed when using the pressure washer.

It's right above the wing mirror, on closer inspection the glass just isn't seating into the weatherstrip channel properly. I have tried aligning it plenty of times but it's just refusing to seat in nicely. So I looked at the parts catalogue and got ready to order part 8 for £250 odd.

However then I notice part 14 for £40 and the description Weather strip, front door glass run channel. Which part is this as from the picture it looks wrong but from the description it looks correct

That will probably be a short length of rubber "U" channel that presses into the front glass guide channel within the door cavity.

You would only know for sure by taking a looky inside the door.
