Are my carbon wing mirror covers going to fit? V8V to V12V?

So I've taken the carbon covers off my 2008 V8 before it goes with a view to fitting them on my new 2010 V12V (might have noticed I'm getting one )

Anyway just noticed on a website the covers are listed pre and post 2010.5

Does this mean they're not going to fit?

And if not what car shares its wing mirrors with a 2010.5 + vantage? Another Volvo?

I'm not sure of any other changes to the wing mirrors other than the switch from the slimmer ones (which you probably have on your V8 if it's an 08) and the chunkier not so nice ones you see today. Can't comment which ones are fitted to the 2010 V12 though as I've never really looked. Visually you can tell the difference between them straight away though.

I'd say the're different, the V12 looks like they're a bit chunkier which is what's fitted today, nowhere near as nice IMHO.

That (gorgeous) V12 has >10.5 mirrors so the earlier ones won't fit I'm afraid.

Way to go Aston, make improvements that aren't improvements Wish I hadn't looked now, wouldn't have noticed but that's all I'm going to see now when I look at the car....those big f&&k off ears. Wonder how much of a ball ache it would be to buy some used pre-2010 mirrors and fit them?

I'd never noticed before but you're right, the older ones are much nicer.

Took me a while to realise they were different between my 09 V8R and 14 SP10.......the originals are much nice, much sleeker.
