As I see more and more reviews online, the DB11 is really growing on me, especially when the roof pillars are body coloured (I feel the black dilutes the lines).

Almost every car I've seen has the 'Chopped Carbon' interior. I really don't like it... Obvs. you don't have to spec it, but are your opinions of it?

The rest of the car though....??

I like it in the flesh. When I was at the factory last I seem to recall there were a couple of different finishes available - was it matt or shiny ?

I can't get used to the exterior. Looks like a naff f-type. Interior however is epic.

I don't mind it but I do prefer the "regular" carbon finish. Slightly off thread but.....what I do mind is turbos on an Aston wink

The forged carbon looks terrible imo. I wonder how much they're charging for it in comparison to regular laminated carbon weave? Since it is considerably cheaper to produce I wonder if it's a considerably cheaper option scratchchin

It wouldn't be my first choice, I think it looks a bit like a 1970's picnic table but that may be a bit harsh. I had three days with the DB11 recently and the satin chopped carbon didn't grow on me. As for Marks worry about the turbo I can only say the engine is fantastic and the power delivery seemingly endless. I could not have said it was a turbocharged engine.

Malcolm, this is exactly what I'm talking about - thanks for the picture. I simply could not live with this carbon.

Quite simply the worst material ever seen on a car interior of ANY marque. Horrendous.

Sorry James as this is a bit off your original topic. There were a few oddities about the car for instance it doesn't have a petrol cap! You push down on the edge of the petrol flap ( no cool little button beside your right knee ) and there is a spring loaded disk you push the pump nozzle through.
It's just a minor thing but the cap felt like a quality item and now there's just a little hole.

Haven't seen it in real life or probably haven't paid enough attention but looks like something I would pay a few thousand GBP to get rid of it... regarding the petrol cap: they also saved the AM badge on the engine...

The petrol cap is a great leap forward, love it. Nothing dangling or requiring unscrewing, progress.

I love the front end but I can't get over the rear end. The air blade might be very cool and gimmicky but it certainly does nothing to add to the looks. I remember when the DBS came out with that little boot flip - I think I got over excited biggrin

The back of the 11 looks a little square and flat. Maybe it'll grow but it certainly doesn't have the curves.

I think the petrol cap thing is a good idea even though i do love the ones we have now but i,m always worried it will fall and damage the wing.
I think the rear of the car looks very cool.
