My 2015 manual has hill start assist. If your stopped on an incline you don't roll back when you start to move.

Yep. Same on a 2014 UK manual V8Vs. Not sure exactly when it was introduced.

My Dec 2012 manual Roadster has that too ....maybe came in with 2012.25 Model Year

It works well, and another tweak to try to eek more clutch life aka compensate for poor driving technique
