So I recently developed a crack across my nav cover. Been thinking of upgrading to the piano black and buttons so...
Used a plastic trim removal tool from the local auto parts store to pop the console loose and a #20 torx for everything else.

Video of initial console removal.

I've got to say, that's awesome. Not just looks awesome with the piano black facia, but awesome post too.
A lot of people will find that very useful.

So it looks like you're making colour changes but by bit.
What's next? Door cappings? Steering wheel?
I'll tell you what, the alloy internal door handles look great in gloss black too.

Nice helpful images. I too used the washers as spacers on my SatNav.

Thought about painting the HVAC and gear-surround to match?

Does look very good. I'll drive my car through a muddy field but I'm worried about tiny scratches slowly accumulating on the black.

Just wondering, what type of washers did you use?

Very nice result OP! Glass buttons look great, i'm really keen on having them on my car as well.

Also nice posting the video on how to remove the slope, best one i've seen yet.
