V8 Vantage stereo upgrade / bluetooth / reverse camera

Hi all,

I did a quick search but couldn't really find what I was looking for. I have the V8 Vantage, 2007 model and it has the premium sound system. The sound from it is fantastic, but it doesn't have bluetooth streaming. It has bluetooth phone though. There seems to be a few different options out there and was quoted about $3000 to have the genuine AM bluetooth upgrade to allow streaming through the only AM dealer in my state.

Ideally I would love to have streaming AND the option of a reverse camera, coming up on the sat nav screen. I would love to be able to mirror my iPhone, but that is not as important.

Anyone had any experience with this and can recommend anything?

Reverse camera can be done—for the guy who installed my system, you want to look for "trackaphone" online, or the user Paralight on here. His name is James and he knows his stuff.

The Bovee is brilliant.
James (paralight/trackaphone) is a top guy and engineer but I fear flying to you might be a little too far, he may however have a contact out with you.

What can I do to help?

Gateway 500 works well with the Bovee tune2air, I can send the kit to you, all put together, ready to 'throw' at the car. Reverse camera, again, is possible (have a kit I can send). iPhone mirror kit we do also. Do you have someone that could help with installation? I am more than happy to talk through the process and advise as needed.

I'd be keen to hear what kind of price youre looking at for the kit? I am reasonably handy, so would probably have a crack at fitting myself. Have fitted multiple stereo systems over the years in to previous cars. None had optical cables though lol
