Tyre shoes/tyre cushions
Discussion
I have the ones Aston Martin sell as accessories. Not the cheapest solution but very good quality.

When I had my 911 I used these. For the rear wheels that are obviously wider you can clip 2 together. A bargain compared to the AM tyre cushions

None of those solutions are correct, nor inflating above o.e.m. suggestion, nor on whatever found in your garage like simple rubber tiles. The AM model is almost perfect unless its price which is rather high, but it works very well. Another solution is ALTairEGO tyre cushions sets which has the same quality and efficiency, the only on the market, but are avaible in different sizes and for different weights, from vehicles of upto 800 Kg/2400 pds until vehicles of 4000 Kg/8800 pds. in tiotal they have 16 models for various use, weight and tyres dimensions. I would go for these. Their ALTairEGO cushions are 95 % efficient while some other products are 20 % efficient; obviously the cost is low but the efficiency is like it. For example, the rubber tile is efficient in the area of 5 %, yes i say five per cent !!!
If you are really worried about the 'correct solution', simply jack up the car and use stands.
I did once have flat spots after leaving my car stationary for about three months, but some Italian cornering soon solved that problem.
Following that experience, I adopted the system already mentioned above; over inflate, stand each tyre on very thick carpet, roll car one foot every three weeks during hibernation. That worked perfectly and the OEM tyres were still not worn out when replaced after 10 years!
How much longer do you want your tyres to last? -

EDIT - Sorry Raymond, I have just noticed your home country. In the UK, we only refer to Italian driving, out of admiration for the famous Italian racing drivers of the past.
