Yes, it is. But I don't think it is as stated in the ad. IIRC Appletree Green is much lighter in hue. That looks like BRG, maybe.

Does anyone else think the colours remind them of the Spitfire edition - without all the great touches of course.

Yep - first thing that came to mind when I saw it posted earlier in the week. Not normally a green colour fan, but this one looks like the best V12V scheme I’ve ever seen. VERY classy and half the price of the Spitfire edition V12VM on sale at the moment.

It even started a (unfortunately very short lived) man maths conversation about it being a good pension plan LOL!

Why do people insist on putting cheap Irish number plates on expensive cars wink

Loving that interior colour. Stunning.......AlwYs suprised why there aren't more V12's with the carbon seats. Yes I know they were an expensive option but the car just seems to be crying out for them. I also found them more comfortable than the standard seat.....Still stunning though.

I definitely think they were a source of inspiration for this car! Bit too much Kestral Tan inside this one for my taste, but the combo with a dark green shade works beautifully.

Agreed. And It does say it's got Q-paint (Appletree isn't Q)., so I wonder whether ithe dealership has made an error with the description

Love the external colour (and it's not appletree green) but I agree there is a bit too much of the Kestrel Tan hide - probably should have gone duo-tone Tan and black, which would also have made the streering wheel and gear gaiter look less silly as the only two black items in the cabin. Also should have opted for the rear cabin in leather, the lightweight seats and upgraded the wheels from the std liquid silver, and not sure why you would go with black external mesh and bright DLO - one or the other.

Other than that - it's a nice spec wink

Looks very much like my (sadly departed) Ghillies Green with Kestrel Tan V8.
Interior is definitely Kestrel.
Colour may be a tad lighter than Ghillies, but could be due to the lighting in the pics.

The colour is Pentland Green (Q Special). Duxford Green is darker - comparison below:-

Stunning car but the interior shot of the nav system makes me cry. its a slab sided effort which doesn't fit the car, showing a nav screen in 2d with graphics which wouldn't look out of place in a ten year old fiesta.

I think I would go for one without the nav, keep the clean lines of the dash. Even the rattiest smartphone nav system looks light years ahead.
In fact the idea I would have in new cars is simply give me a pretty screen which is inkeeping with the car, nice and thin because all it would need is a wireless connection to mirror my latest phone app.

Why does a car company try to mimic smart phone technology in their cars knowing that it'll look outdated before its even made it to the market. Especially in a car as pretty as that.

It’s simple - you can just set the screen to fold away flush into the waterfall by default - mine only comes up now when I need the reversing camera. Other than that I never see it

Why do people get so wound up about the sat nav system? Even when I had the old Volvo system in my early cars it worked ok and always got me there in the end, albeit sometimes by the scenic route wink But who cares because I love driving my Aston. I have probably done over 50k miles in the Astons and can only remember it not getting me there a couple of times. Better than the Porsche which lost me on several occasions in far less miles!

The latest Garmin system works as well as my RRS and BMW and have no problem with it popping up. When the car's parked it is down and no sign of it. Like the fact it has the speed limit showing and notifies of safety cameras and it looks like the latest version has some fun 'power' bits to it that I am looking forward to playing with. It will probably be quite a shock to see how little power I use smile

By your comments I assume you are not actually familiar with the latest AMi III Nav as fitted to this car, which is actually really good. It's quite capable of doing 3D and includes actual graphics of large buildings in big cities, just like they do on Google or Apple Maps. Sure they have shown a screen shot in 2D, but do not mistake that as the only capability.

Also the new AMi III is also compatible with both Apple Car Play and Android Auto - so you can just use the Nav on your smartphone should you choose to prefer that.

I use a Garmin in the pool car at work and I have to say I find it poor compared the AMi III Nav now - AM have certainly listened to feedback and upgraded the system in the final years. Will be interesting to see how the DB11 / new Vantage, presumably Merc based Nav is compared to it?
