Lowered and Spacers Fitted To My 07 DB9
Discussion
So its been a busy day at my place of work, AKS tuning working on the DB9.
H&R springs fitted - 25mm drop
H&R 11mm front spacers
H&R 23mm rear spacers
New genuine side repeaters
I think the car sits much nicer and has a little more of an aggressive look.
I know its not going to be everyone's taste but the DBS sits some what similar and I wanted to keep the optional extra 15 spoke wheels.
Below are some some pics for you
Thanks
Paul

Thanks the comments fellas.
The ride is actually better. Smoother ride, feels more stable and and bobs less up and down at higher speeds.
No strapping or rubbing at full lock so far.
Yes the rear studs need to be cut as the spacer includes studs built into them, the front spacer is thinner so no need to cut the studs but you get new wheel nuts supplied so they go further into the wheel.
If your interested in getting the same job done pancholi, pop me an e-maul paul@akstuning.com

Just a comment on the spacer....spacing, if you're looking at buying some:
MK2 wheels have space on the hub between the stud holes, so there's no need to cut the factory studs.
23mm in the rear is PERFECT. With that, the factory wheel is about 1mm in from the fender, which is perfect "OEM Plus" style.
For the front, a lot of folks go with 11mm. That looks way better than factory, and if that's what you're comfortable with (or all that's available), DO IT! It's still a big upgrade in appearance.
That said, it still leaves a little bit of "sunken in" look. I went with 18MM spacers in the front, same bolt-on style as the rears. That gives the front the same "just inside the fender" look as the rear. You still have a ton of clearance in the front and rear of the wheel well between the tire and the fender liner, so no rubbing at any time.
I order spacers from https://motorsport-tech.com/ - I've ordered from there for Teslas, BMWs, etc...super high quality products and they already know our thread spacing and hub bore, so it takes the guesswork out.
I'll post a picture in the near future.
