DB9.2 rear number plate
Discussion
Hi all, I think stratstone has done my rear plate slightly off centre and it’s doing my nut now.
I found a thread about db9 plates but it was 6 years old so apologies if there is more recent.
My 2 questions are:
1) is the DB9 and DB9.2 rear plate size/fitment the same?
2) recommendations for an online site to get one made up please?
Thanks very much in advance.

I used http://www.demonplates.com previously for a 2006 DB9. They make model specific plates.
Totally recommend fourdot. They made me a plate for the rear of my DB9. I had it cut to the shape but unusually had the yellow numberplate as a normal oblong. It was a very short plate. 4 digits and looked so different. Totally brilliant and the quality is second to none
The look transformed the rear of the car. I guess it only works on a dark colour though

I get my plates off this seller, perfect quality and service https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shaped-rear-number-plat...
Plates from four dot arrived today. 2 day delivery is great. Product was very nicely packaged with the cut out templates and instructions on how to fit. I spent a lot of time taking the vhb tape off the car at the rear where the previous plate had been. Using a hairdryer and some elbow grease and finally got to fit the rear. On the front I decided to try without the plinth. I don’t know if that’s vantage only territory but anyho these are the before and after:

And with new plate and plinth removed:

I did bend the front plate to try and shape it a little with some heat but waiting to see if it is still in place tomorrow. I might get the front cut down to fit the white background if that’s possible but it’s not urgent.
Very happy with the plates. They are expensive but worth it imo.

Did you end up cutting the front plate down to a smaller size? or is this not possible if removal of the plinth leaves unsightly holes in the front bumper
Hi, no it would have been a right mess so I ordered another front plate but the smallest one they do and fitted that. I used four screws with black plastic caps to hide the holes that were exposed. Not perfect but much better imo. Can’t seem to get a pic uploaded. soofsayer said:
