V8VR battery charging

My roof has failed and I can’t access the charging point in the boot to plug in my ctek! Is it still ok to use the cigarette lighter in the front? Car being transported next Friday and I don’t want it to turn up and my battery’s dead! TIA John

When my battery died on my V8V I used the cigarette point to give me enough charge to move the seats so I could get to the battery

So I'm sure that will work for you

I only ever use the lighter inside the car as the charger failed to make contact once so if flat you cant open the boot.

Thanks fellas I’ll get it plugged in tonight, I’ve still got shopping in the boot- including 4 pints of milk, hopefully it won’t explode by the time “works” get it fixed!
