New vantage - spotted!
Discussion
It does present very smartly in the dark blue.
It took me a while but i'm very much warming to the new design language.
I think once people see them on the road - in decent colours - comparing them to other vehicles, they will quickly realise AM's design brilliance. In the right spec/colour they look superb!

Well I sure hope you guys are right!
Last week I had the pleasure of driving the DB11 and the new Vantage. the Vantage was INCREDIBLE to drive - just so alive. The one I drove was well appointed too. BUT... the lights at the front... I'm just not so sure. I really hope it grows on me because to drive it's fantastic.

I was at Aston Works this morning getting my V8VS MOT'd. They had two new vantages - a silver & a dark grey. i also saw it at the reveal at Gaydon. IMO the rear looks awesome & I've really tried to like the front but just can't. Whether its the lights, large mouth, no engine grills - probably a combo of all of that. GameofCars said:

Agree with your comments re the front. Some colours disguise it a little though. I’m hoping one of the aftermarket firms come up with a “re-furb” option. If they get it right it could sell relatively well. DW
Spotted one in light blue heading south on the A38 just north of Bristol on the way home from work yesterday afternoon.
It looked a bit larger than I remebered. Certainly had some presence about it, but not sure the contrast between the light body colour and black grille did it any favours from the font view. I wouldn't say the design is growing on me - I still wish it was more elegant and less fussy. However, I can see why other people would find the agressive styling and features appealing.

Saw the phot of a metallic dark blue car on FB and it looked ok but saw a Flugplatz and a dark grey in the flesh at Stratstone and cannot get on with the front end at all or the rear diffuser ... rear lights look awesome but the diffuser draws your eyes. Not over impressed with the Merc interior either !!
Well I wasn't a fan of the styling and this is not the first I have seen. However....
Saw a dark blue one on the road today. Caught it out of the corner of my eye in the distance.
In one nano-second I thought ' That is something special' and in the second nano-second I thought ' That's an Aston'.
It definitely had presence and passed the drive-by test.
Think it looks best when it's out in the wild doing it's thing and seen from a distance.
Definitely made me stop and stare and stood out from the crowd even in a modest colour and sounding quiet.

That sums it up for me.CSK1 said:
Maybe Singer can diversify into making the new Vantage look like the old one in the way they are doing (brilliantly) with the 911!
Singer are restomoding the 964 which ended production around 1994, I am not sure a current car is in their target demographic, but hey, if so good luck!
