New Vantage - finally some bonnet vents
Discussion
It’s funny how something so simple can make such a big difference. Are the vents positioned where the cut outs are when looking at the underside of the bonnet? Dr APs twitter feed has a few more pictures and the carbon surrounds look very nice indeed. Surely these need to be an optional extra from now on? They transform the looks in a very good way and that should appease many oldies on here like me!

in the 1st and 3rd picture they look like a welcome addition - in the 2nd (full frontal) however not sure they look quite so aesthetically pleasing.
I wonder if an additional grill vent at the front edge of the hump a little like the 1970/80s era V8 might help ?
out of interest what flavour of red is that ?

Let's be blunt. In full frontal, the Series 2 Vantage is not much of a looker.
RichB - I can't disagree - but in fairness I think it looks better in the flesh and the above pictures demonstrate it is a very colour sensitive and angle of camera sensitive car - which was not the case with the previous generation V8 & V12 Vantage RichB said:
Just need to get rid of the bloody bonnet shut line across the nose above the Aston Martin wings! Whoever designed that should be shot...
That's my only gripe with the Vantage. I love how the outgoing cars ran all the way to the grill. The new Vantage looks brilliant from the side and rear, much like the new DBS, the front on both leaves me cold.
